Direct Sales Agents

In order to strengthen our sales team and in line with the business strategy, we are looling for qualified and trainable candidates to all positions of direct sales agent(s) at our various branches both within Nairobi and outside Nairobi.

Reporting to the relationship officer. The position holders Key role is aquisition of new business at the same time ensuring quality customer service.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver set sales Targets in Loan disbursements and quality Loan Book.
  • Provide Excellent customer service at all times.
  • Actively participate in marketing campagns to ensure clients are well informed of the product portfolio.
  • Seek customer feedback on products and services offered by the organization.
  • Provide daily sales reports.
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum of Diploma preferably in sales and marketting. A Degree is an added advantage.
  • Previours experience in direct sales within Banking, MFI, Insurance and related industries will be a definite advantage.

  • Wealth Creation

    In response to our customer demands and inline with our growth, we are looking for suitable and qualified individuals to fill the positions of wealth creation officers (individual lending) in our various branches.

    Report directly to the barch manager.

    Job Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities by proactively marketing for individual loan products to suitable potential clients.
  • Interview, visit analyze and evaluate borrowers and potential borrowers with emphasies on risks and particular focus on credit risks.
  • Prepare and make appropriate credit recommendations to the branch credit committee.
  • Work closely with the entire branch staff to maintain a high degree of customer service levels and focus.
  • Proactive loan portfolio monitoring and management.
  • Prepare performance reports, work plans and activity reports.
  • Participate on setting up personal productivity targets and work towards achieving them.
  • Qualifications

  • A college Diploma or University Degree preferably in business related descipline from a recognized institution.
  • At least 2 years demenstarble experience in individual lending from a commercial bank .
  • Certificate of good conduct.
  • Computer literate and proficient.

  • Wealth Creation Officers

    We are looking for suitable and qualified individuals to fill the position of wealth creation officers (Group Lending) in our variours branches.

    Reporting to the Branch manager.

    Job Responsibilities

  • Consistently grow the company's product portfolio by marketing to individuals and groups.
  • Develop plans for growth of the product and identify suitable clients.
  • Conduct client education on the new products features and requirements.
  • Conduct loan appraisals and make recommendations to branch credit committee.
  • Visit cliet business premises from time to time during loan assessment and monitoring to ensure the quality of the loan is maintained at the expected level.
  • Participate in the setting of personal product targets and work towards meeting the same.
  • Qualifications

  • Diploma in business related discipline from a recognised institution.
  • A business related degree is an added advantage.
  • At least two years of relevant experience in group lending from microfinance bank.

  • Operations Manager:

    We are looking for suitable and qualified individuals to fill the position of operations manager in our organization.

    Reporting to the Project Coodinator.

    Job Responsibilities

  • The Operations manager will oversee the corporate growth of the institution and future expansion to other areas.
  • Develop strategies of sourcing for funds and partners for the institution while at the same time maintaining a positive working relationship with present donors and stakeholders.
  • Promote and protect the name, reputation and fiscal responsibilities of Goldmac.
  • Provide Direct supervision of the day to day operations of the branch offices and respective managers.
  • He/She will actively participate in improving the institution by developing and making recommendations, creating innovative training methods, cutting costs, working more efficiently and effectively.
  • He/She will be responsible for portfolio management, product development and continuously market Goldmac products.
  • Ensure portfolio quality and growth for long term sustainability and profitability of the institution.
  • Ensure achievement of lending targets and other goals as outline in business plan and approved by the board of directors.
  • Developing and implementing strategies for promotion and expansion of client services.
  • Ensuring client Certification.
  • Monitor all activities to ensure they conform to established procedures and required regulations.
  • Conduct periodic monitoring visits to the field training and supervising credit staff and duties related to the post and as may be assigned.
  • Desired Competencies and personal attributes

  • To be successful you should have at least a University Degree in Development Studies, Business Administration, B.Com (Marketing) or a related field. An advanced diploma with over 5 years experience in portfolio management will be considered. At least 2 years management experience in a financial/micro – finance institution.
  • Good command of English and some indigenous language.
  • Competence in basic computer packages and experiences in the usage of banking computerized software as well as basic accounting..
  • Reporting skills and good networking capacities and ability to motivate subordinates in trying circumstances.
